Aztech Plug in the wall 11n WiFi Range Extender/Repeater
The Aztech WL559E is a plug in the wall 11n Repeater. The WL559E supports 802.11n technology with up to 300Mbps data transfer rates. The WL559E takes your existing 802.11n wireless signal, repeats and extends it to where it is too far away for your router or access point to reach. It is backwards compatible with 802.11b/g routers or access points. It is worth noting, the repeater needs to be placed where it will receive a good signal from your router and it will halve the bandwidth available, and hence speed, in the repeated to area.
The repeater is equipped with 1 x 10/100 LAN port that can be used to connect to an existing wired network to serve as a wireless interface. It can also be used to configure the repeater via its web-based interface or to upgrade the firmware.
The WL559E is designed with MiMo technology, which successfully reduces 'dead spots', and extends network coverage within a home or in the building.
The WL559E features 64/128-bit WEP encryption and WIFI Protected Access (WPA), WPA2 to ensure the network security and prevent unauthorised access to you network.
The device is easy to setup. It is portable with no need of any external power adaptor. It comes with the embedded power supply and power plug, so that you can just plug it into a power socket.
