Overview

This Industrial Class Access Point has Dual-Detachable Antenna (Reverse SMA Connector), IEEE802.3af PoE Built-in and is IP50 Certificated.

Aiming at the best performance/price ratio for both business and industrial applications, the WAP-854GP is designed to be affordable yet fast, secure, robust, versatile and a business class access point. The WAP-854GP is compliant with the latest wireless industrial security standards that are required in those tightly secured enterprise network environments. Its Wireless Distribution System (WDS) feature allows for flexible extension of wireless coverage. The dual LAN ports, which can receive Power over Ethernet (PoE) and back up each other by failover function give the WAP-854GP reliable connectivity. Its metal case is IP50 compliant which means the WAP-854GP is well suited to the WLAN deployment in industrial environments.

WAP-854GP’s easy-to-use web-based administrative interface make the configuration task and client management simple and straightforward. In addition, CLI and SNMP management interfaces are also supported by WAP-854GP. 

The built-in software interfaces of WAP-854GP has allow for communicating with other types of network management servers.
