Overview

The 48WALLADAPTER is a 48v PoE injector in the form of a wall adapter socket that provides 100Mbps FastEthernet data speeds as well as 48v PoE power to PoE equipment. This device operates by being plugged directly into a mains power socket, making it much simpler and less potentially obstructive than many other PoE injector models (due to the lack of any power cables), as well as more aesthetically pleasing.

With its low price and simple design, the 48WALLADAPTER is an excellent choice of PoE injector for any piece of PoE equipment requiring 48v and located outside the range of standard power cables, such as WiFi Access Points and IP cameras.

This injector uses pins 1/2 and 3/6 for data transmission and pins 4/5 and 7/8 for power. Read our PoE white paper for more information on Power-Over-Ethernet technology.
