Overview

The WG-500P from Handlink is an all-in-one hotspot gateway combining a thermal printer. The WG-500P is ideal for cafés, airport lounges and shops or even as guest access in an office environment. The WG-500P has customisable billing profiles allowing you to give time limits on guest internet access.

The WG-500P can be used as a standalone authentication gateway to monitor and control Internet access for guests and visitors. The WG-500P supports web-based authentication which allows you to direct your guests to a walled garden or an internal portal page giving you the option to direct guests to an acceptable use policy page another website or an advertising page.

A built-in login page allows you to track guest’s Internet usage records. The WG-500P provides Real-time session information which gives you the ability to monitor the real time usage status via Session information page.

The WG-500P is simple to set up. Simply connect via Ethernet to your Internet router, turn it on and follow the quick set-up routine via the web interface.

  1) Support Volume Base Profile

Now customer can configure the volume base billing on WG-500P, the configuration UI under the path: Advanced Setup/Billing/Billing.

 

  2) Support Free Trial function.

Now customer can configure the Free Trial function for subscriber, subscriber can use free trial hotspot Internet service by volume or by time, the UI is under the path: Advanced Setup/Billing/Accounting/Free Trial.

 

  3) Support Login page auto-resizing function.

Now customer can enable the login page Auto-Resizing function on WG-500P, the configuration UI is under path:Advanced Setup/System/Customization/Auto-Resizing.

 
After upgrading the latest fw, please do "hardware reset" and reconfigure again.
