Overview

The ESR9850 from EnGenius is a Wireless 11n Access Point / Router. The ESR9850 offers home networking with excellent throughput and performance. The easy to use WPS function allows you to connect to your wireless device with just one push of a button.

The ESR9850 supports multiple SSID's which allows you to provide multiple wireless networks; this might be useful if you need to isolate guest traffic from the rest of your network. You can allow guest devices to use only some services, such as just the internet.

With 2 Transmit streams and 2 Receive streams there is the potential to increase throughput with the ESR9850.

The EnGenius ESR9850 has a built-in 4-port 10/100/1000 (Gigabit) Switch to connect your wired devices together. The Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.
