Meet the Solwise team
Paul is is Managing Director and co-founder of Solwise. His background is as an electronic design engineer with experience in fields as diverse as Power Audio and Lab. Instrumentation. Paul gained his BSc at Hull University and worked for a couple of years as a research assistant in the electronic engineering department. He is the proud father of two children. Steve is the Company Secretary and co-founder of the company. His background is in chemistry but moved into IT under the misguided idea it was a way to make more money! Steve gained his BSc at York University and his PhD at Hull University researching Catalytic Chemistry. His principal job function at Solwise is in the evaluation of new products and, for his sins, he is our networks guru. Steve is also quite handy at fixing roller doors!
Louise is responsible for building awareness of new products and services that Solwise has to offer as well as building on the relationships with existing customers. Her background has always been in sales & marketing. She is also responsible for keeping the website up-to-date. Louise is a Trustee and Governor at Beverley Grammar School. Louise's main interests include wine & chocolate.
Dave is in the technical support / systems development team. Another musical member of the team that we expect great things from at the annual Solwise bbq/jamming session!
Ellie is our Sales & Accounts Administrator. She enjoys a good book, Game of Thrones and anything with chocolate!
Daniel is the youngest member of the technical support team. Daniel enjoys video games and relaxing for very extended periods of time.
A self-confessed geek, Ryan has a keen interest in all things techy and joined Solwise in November 18 as `Product Management and Support Executive.'
He gained his BA in Business at Hull University and has since worked in the timber and IT industries.
Joining Solwise was an attempt to get away from the hubbub of `Have you tried turning it off and on again?' to the more prestigious, `Are you sure you have plugged it in?'
Time will tell if this was a wise decision.
