Overview

The Wi-TEK WI-PS108R is an 8-Port 10/100Mbps Switch with 8-Port PoE providing seamless network connection.  Ports 1-7 for PoE In, Port 8 for PoE Out.

The WI-PS108R is similar to the WI-PS310GRF in that it's powered via incoming PoE BUT with a few differences:

Ports 1-7 10/100M LAN data and also 24V (24V only) PoE in
Port 8 10/100M LAN data and also 24V (24V only) PoE out

DC Out can be used for local power to an accessory that doesn't support PoE. Using a switch on the back the DC voltage out can be set to 5V or 12V max. 2A (power available depends on the total PoE in power supplied to the switch) e.g. it might be an IP camera which doesn't support but can be powered from normal 12V DC. So you set the switch on the back of the WI-PS108R for 12V, then use a DC cable from the DC out to the DC/power in on the camera. In addition Ports 1-7 can be set with isolation by a switch on the reverse. When powered up Ports 1-7 can't see each other but CAN see port 8.
