Overview

The PSW-508D differs from most POE devices in that it does not include its own mains power supply unit, instead you can select a power supply that meets your specific needs. The power supply you choose drives the seven POE ports directly, so if your power supply is, for instance, 24V then the POE ports will supply 24V.

The main application for this device is in driving non-standard POE devices such as out-door WiFi bridging units which require a 24V-POE feed. There is also some demand for 12V units for security cameras.

You should choose a power supply with enough current capacity to supply all the POE devices you need to connect to the ports, with at least 8 Watts spare to power the device itself.Power supply is not included
