Technical Sales & Key Account Executive - Homebased covering the UK.

Solwise do technical distribution. By this, we mean that we do more than just shift boxes. All our products are carefully selected to represent the best value for money within their sector. If we can't offer something special in a product range, we don't carry it. We also understand our products which is why a technology sales background would be preferable for this role. Solwise is the main distribution partner for Poynting, Teltonika, Guest Internet Solutions and EnGenius here in the UK as well as offering Edimax, QuWireless, WatchfulEye and our own brand hardware.

Solwise is looking for an experienced Technical Sales & Key Account Manager, to join our team and contribute to the ambition to deliver top-class connectivity products and solutions to our customers in the UK.

  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Achieve financial targets.
  • Find and develop positive relationships with new clients.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs.

  • Key Requirements of Sales & Key Account Executive:

  • Minimum 3 years Sales experience in Technology related Sales.
  • Effective Communication Skills.
  • Possess great aptitude in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer enquiries on time.
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
  • The successful candidate will:

  • Have a technical background and familiarity with computer networking.
  • Be able to learn new technical subjects from our in-house staff, (for instance 'antenna performance', 'cellular networks') to a level required to sell into vertical markets.
  • Be able to research the structure of new markets (for instance 'hospitality', 'utility metering').
  • Be able to generate sales relationships with buyers in vertical markets as part of our marketing team.
