IT Support Technician/Apprentice
Due to some internal restructuring we have a place for an IT Support Technician at apprenticeship level. Our provider of choice has been traditionally Baltic Training however if you are enrolled elsewhere we are still keen to hear from you.
The role will include offering support pre and post-sales via the phone, email and occasionally in-person to visitors. We are looking at someone with a keen interest in all things tech, you will receive full training on the hardware that we sell.Ideally, you will have good written and verbal communication skills allowing you to write clear and professional emails. You must be interested in networking technology and keen to learn more. You will be proficient at problem-solving and be able to speak clearly and confidently over the phone.
Ideally you will have some experience with basic programming however if you don't but are interested in this area we would be keen to hear from you.
It is likely that you will have some level of education in the field of computing and IT at GCSE or A-Level standard or equivalent.
We are a mail-order company and as such being able to work as part of a small team is essential, this may involve other tasks not listed above, such as moving boxes & packing up parcels on a busy day! These sorts of tasks add to the ‘making every day different’ nature of our company.
