Overview

SFP transceiver modules which enable a single fibre to carry both the transmit and receive elements of a connection. This is achieved by using two light streams of different wave-length (colour) to carry the two signals. They are supplied either singularly or as a matched pairs. These devices offer an instant solution where insufficient fibre cores are available in an inherited installation because existing pairs can be 'doubled-up'.
