ADSL 2/2+ Modem Router with HomePlug
The SAR-605EH uses the Texas Instruments AR7 Chipset solution and fully complies with current ADSL2/2+ standards including Extended-Reach-ADSL support. HomePlug 1.0 support is provided using the industry leading Intellon INT5500CS Turbo chipset delivering up to 85 Mbps over existing electrical wiring. Remember, you will need at least two HomePlug devices to form a HomePlug connection. More HomePlug 1.0 devices can be added to further share your network.
Targeted at Residential, Small-Office-Home-Office (SOHO) and Business users, routing security is provided via double Stateful Packet Inspection and a Network-Address-Translation (NAT) based Firewall. VPN Passthrough and DMZ support provide additional security support for telecommuters as well as allowing flexibility and maintaining security against malicious hackers. 56bit DES Encryption secures communcation over the electric circuit on shared supplies. Universal-Plug-and-Play support and Multi-Port-Range/Popular-Application Forwarding makes it easy to control external access whilst maintaining good securinty.
Includes: 1.8m ADSL modem lead, 1.8m LAN cable, Setup Guide.
