ADSL 2/2+ Ready 4 Port Ethernet Router

The SAR-600ER ADSL2/2+ Ready 4 Port Ethernet Router uses Texas Instruments AR7 Chipset solution that fully complies to ANSI T1.413 Issue 2, ITU-T G.992.1 (G.dmt) and G.992.2 (G.lite) ADSL standard. The SAR-600ER also provides future proof functionality with higher data transmission rates with ADSL2, ADSL2+ and Extended Reach-ADSL support.

Targeted at the residential and SOHO users, it is the ideal solution to provide a 4 in 1 device for both high speed broadband connectivity via a combined ADSL2/2+ ready Modem support, Routing functionality for multi-user sharing, 4 port AutoMDI/MDIx 10/100 Switch and true Firewall capability functionality.

Security is provided via a double Stateful Packet Inspection and NAT based Firewall. VPN Passthrough and DMZ support provide additional security support for telecommuters as well as allow flexibility while maintaining security against malicious hackers.

Includes: 1.8m ADSL modem lead, 1.8m LAN cable, Setup Guide.

RouterTech firmware
The new 'R' series SAR600ER routers are being shipped with RouterTech firmware as default. This firmware is written, by a group of volunteers, fluent in the GPL code used in the family of routers based on the TI AR7WRD and AR7RD platforms. Full details of the RouterTech organsation and addition information on the firmware and future f/w upgrades can be obtained directly from RouterTech, available from the opposite link. It is essential that you fully read the documentation supplied with the firmware and at the link opposite to ensure successful flashing. Support for this firmware can only be obtained in the firmware forum of this site and NOT from Solwise. Bug reports should be filed in the same forum, with a prefix to the thread title of [BUG]. This will allow the development team to read, discuss and fix the bug before updating the firmware and closing the thread. Future f/w upgrades can be obtained directly from RouterTech.
