Overview

The QuSpot AX50S is an omni-directional LTE-4G/5G antenna designed specifically for use with the Teltonika RUTX50. As well as being an antenna, the AX50S acts as a waterproof outdoors enclosure for the RUTX50 to be stored in; this eliminates a lot of the usual signal loss encountered over lengthy cable runs from a mobile antenna to an LTE router and also allows for much more flexibility when it comes to finding the optimal mounting location for the antenna, since proximity to a router is not a concern.

The AX50S can be mounted to a moving vehicle and is robust, waterproof and rated IP67, making it an ideal outdoor solution for a variety of mobile and fixed installations including rural and urban housing, industrial sites, CCTV facilities, boats, campervans, caravans etc.

This antenna also supports dual-band WiFi and GPS facilities, both utilised by the RUTX50. Both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi bands are supported to provide the optimum connection up to 867Mbps.

The only connection that is required to this combination is a single CAT5/6 Ethernet cable which can be up to 50m in length. Power and data are both carried over this one link from a PoE injector (Power over Ethernet). Local distribution of the internet service using network switches, cabling and access points is recommended.
