Overview

The QuSpot A955S is an omni-directional LTE/4G antenna and is an extremely adaptable outdoor device for mobile and fixed installations like industrial sites, CCTV networks, yachts and campervans. What makes this antenna so versatile is that it also doubles as a secure weatherproof enclosure for the Teltonika RUT955/956 router, allowing this particular router to excel in remote conditions far away from any power source without having to worry about the cable length limitations that plague so many mobile router/antenna installations.

The A955S is a multi-band device, supporting a wide range of UK/EU 4G bands to ensure reliability regardless of location. In addition to this, the antenna also supports 2.4GHz WiFi for use in scenarios where it may be necessary to switch the router's WAN input from 4G to a local WiFi system, or simply for distributing a wireless signal to the surrounding area.

The only connection that is required to this combination is a single Ethernet cable which can be about 50m in length.  Power and data are both carried over this one link through PoE (Power over Ethernet), as long as the power being supplied if between 9-30 volts DC.
