Overview

The QuSpot omni LTE/4G antenna for Teltonika RUT260 / 241 / 240 / 230 / 200 router is a perfect outdoor device for mobile and fixed installations like industrial, CCTV, hotspots, yachts, boats, campers, RV etc. It also has embedded WiFi omni antenna.

The combination of the A240S and a Teltonika RUT260 / 241 / 240 / 230 / 200 router provides a neat, comprehensive solution for mobile internet connectivity, especially for waterways and marine applications. Connectivity can be made through the cellular network when away from your home base or through a WiFi service if one is available. Both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi bands are supported to provide the optimum connection.

The only connection that is required to this combination is a single CAT5 cable which can be over 50m in length.  Power and data are both carried over this one link. Local distribution of the internet service using network switches, cabling and access points is supported.

The RUT routers are 'machine-to-machine' to achieve the most stable operation in attended or unattended applications.

A lightning protector may want to be considered on the Ethernet cable leading from this antenna in order to protect the internal circuit of the building/vehicle in the extremely unlikely event that the antenna itself is directly struck by lightning.
