Overview

The QuMax Directional LTE/4G antenna enclosure made for the Teltonika RUT260 / 241 / 240 / 230 / 200 router, is a perfect outdoor device for mobile and fixed installations like industrial, CCTV, hotspots, yachts, boats, campers, RV etc.

By this QuMax also having an embedded Omni-Directional WiFi 2.4GHz antenna, if you use the RUT260 / 241 / 240 / 230 / 200 with this QuMax antenna, you get a completely integrated solution with embedded router and multi-band antennas all-in-one antenna enclosure.

The combination of the A240M and a Teltonika RUT260 / 241 / 240 / 230 / 200 router, provides a neat, comprehensive solution for mobile internet connectivity, especially for marine applications. Connectivity can be made through the cellular network when away from your home base or through a WiFi service if one is available.

The only connection that is required for this combination is a single CAT5 cable which can be over 50m in length. Power and data are both carried over this one link. Local distribution of the internet service using network switches, cabling and access points is supported.

The Teltonika RUT routers are 'machine-to-machine' routers to achieve the most stable operation in attended or unattended applications.

A lightning protector may want to be considered on the Ethernet cable leading from this antenna in order to protect the internal circuit of the building/vehicle in the extremely unlikely event that the antenna itself is directly struck by lightning.

Please note: If using the A240M with a RUT230 router, one LTE/4G attachment will remain unplugged.
