The first industrial unmanaged switch from Teltonika Networks. The TSW100 is equipped with five Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which support up to IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at Power-over-Ethernet standards (PoE).
The PoE output is set by the input power supply used: What goes in is what comes out! Using the supplied 48V power supply then normal 48V 802.3af/at is output on the PoE LAN ports. However, it's possible to use an alternative power supply with a different voltage to alter the PoE voltage. So, for example, using a 12V power supply means the PoE is passive 12V. If you use a 24V power supply then the PoE is 24V. In this way, by simply using a different power supply, then the TWS100 can be used for a varied and wide range of applications. For example, using a 12 or 24V power supply then the TWS100 could be used to power Teltonika routers like the RUT240 or RUT950. In this example, you could use the optional Teltonika DIN rail to DIN rail mount both the TWS100 and also the Teltonika router. You could even use one of the DIN rail power supplies (see our power supply section) to further streamline the setup! Another example is using a 24V power supply then you can PoE power various IP Cameras or outdoor WiFi access points like, for example, the EnGenius range of outdoor WiFi products.
Total power budget for the TWS100 is 120W. As standard a 60W 48V power supply is included meaning you could use 15W PoE (802.3af) for all four PoE LAN ports or 30W for two (802.3at) or a mix. This could be changed for a 120W 48V power supply allowing up to 30W 802.3at PoE simultaneously for all four LAN PoE ports.
