Overview

The Teltonika RUTM09 is a 4G/LTE router designed for scenarios that require a reliable wired internet connection, with a demand for high data throughput, and zero tolerance for latency and interruptions.

The RUTM09 comes equipped with x4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, GNSS/GPS support, and x2 SIM card slots with auto-switching capabilities, enabling multiple failover scenarios. Featuring LTE CAT6, enables cellular speeds of up to 300 Mbps, which can be increased with carrier aggregation across multiple bands.

It’s important to note that the RUTM09 itself does not have the ability to distribute WiFi.
The RUTM09 is 'wired only' meaning it can only deliver an Internet connection to devices through its Ethernet ports, rather than distribute WiFi itself for devices such as phones to connect to wirelessly (that do not have an Ethernet port).
Instead the RUTM09 acts as a wired gateway, it connects to the internet via its Mobile Data (4G) SIM Card, then distributes this collected Mobile Internet connection via its Ethernet ports to connected devices, be that Computers, Laptops, Switches, or an Access Point if you are wanting to distribute the internet signal wirelessly (to connect phones/tablets etc).

The RUTM09 is ideal when you need a reliable, robust, 4G/LTE CAT6 wired internet connection, which includes industrial features such as, dual-SIM, Gigabit Ethernet, VLANs, Teltonika remote management, and more. And if you require wireless device connectivity, adding a compatible Access Point to your set-up can easily achieve this.
