The Teltonika PR1KC640 is a low-profile 5G/LTE, WiFi, & GPS antenna, designed to be roof mounted on a building or vehicle.
Housed in IP67 weather-resistant casing, and equipped with the following cables; x2 5G/LTE, x2 WiFi, & x1 GPS (GNSS), this antenna helps improves signal reception and transmission quality for 5G/4G routers by collecting the mobile signal from outside, when indoor mobile antennas can't quite reach the cell tower from within the routers indoor placement.
This could be for a number of reasons such as:
• The router is placed within a house with thick external walls.
• The router is placed next to metal exterior that blocks signal, such as a fridge/freezer.
• The router is placed within metal exterior that blocks signal, e.g. a vehicle / vending machine / cashpoint.
• The router has multiple objects in-between itself and the cell tower.
