EnGenius Cloud Managed Solution

The EnGenius Cloud Managed Solution product range is designed to provide top-level wireless installations that can be easily managed and monitored remotely across many different locations.

It allows for simple management of multiple sites without the requirement for expensive on-site support workers, intuitive real-time troubleshooting with powerful tools and simultaneous remote firmware upgrading and updating. EnGenius Cloud deployments can be managed via a comprehensive web interface and via an easy-to-use mobile app.

The EnGenius Cloud Managed Solution range is ultimately a great system for standard single-site business, hotels, schools and arenas as well as for wider-scope network management companies operating across a wide area of sites.

The Engenius ECW260 is a powerful and modern outdoor Omni-directional Access Point, capable of broadcasting Wave 2 11ax WiFi signals at speeds of up to 1.8Gbps and utilising a 2500Mbps Ethernet port. As an intelligent MU-MIMO device, the ECW260 is capable of enhanced connectivity to client devices and can provide faster individual speeds than those of other equivalent 2x2 and 3x3 Access Points.

The ECW260 can be used as either a standalone AP or as part of a managed cloud network using an Engenius Cloud switch. Such cloud systems can be configured, monitored and maintained remotely as well as on-site, providing maximum ease and efficiency for the network administrator and cutting down on the costs and time of travelling when dealing with distant site networks. Whether operating in a managed network or as a standalone AP, the ECW260 boasts a wide range of sophisticated features and tools such as AP meshing, 16-SSID support and VLAN tagging.

The ECW260 is also very versatile in its installation, able to be both wall and pole-mounted depending on the situation and capable of operating in adverse outdoor conditions. This flexibility is also enhanced by its utilisation of 802.3af/at PoE as a power source: Using PoE (Power over Ethernet), the ECW260 can be mounted up in outlying locations without needing to be right next to an immediate power source, giving you great freedom in deciding on the best installation position.
