Overview

The GP-103IT from Edimax is a particularly powerful piece of PoE equipment, giving non-PoE Ethernet devices such as switches and routers the ability to provide 95W 802.3af/at/bt PoE power to PoE equipment just by being plugged into them, with no additional cables or configuration required. It operates at 1000Mbps Gigabit speeds and features PoE short circuit protection and over-circuit protection to safeguard network devices and protect against damage.

The GP-102IT is a great way of providing PoE scalability to existing network installations without having to replace entire Ethernet solutions and can be of use in both domestic and business scenarios, wherever PoE equipment such as WiFi Access Points and IP Cameras are utilised.

Supporting PoE++ standards, this injector is capable of providing 95 Watts maximum power down Ethernet cables of up to 100m in length.

This injector uses pins 1/2 and 3/6 for data transmission and pins 4/5 and 7/8 for power.
