Solwise - COVID-19
Update 05.08.2020 In line with the changes in government laws and guidelines for face coverings in retail and other settings we are asking that all visitors entering the Solwise building please wear a face-covering unless you are exempt from doing so. Thank you all for your cooperation with this.
Update 04.08.2020 Most staff are back to work now, some full-time and some part-time which means we are fully staffed some days and other days we have fewer people in. On the days where we have fewer staff these have been traditionally our quieter days but should you find the phone just ringing out or your email taking a little longer to be replied to please do bear with us. We hope to be back to all full-time staff in September. Thank you all for your support during these trying times.
Update 02.07.2020 The collection option in our checkout is now back up and running. If you wish to collect orders from us we would ask that your pre-order your goods and if possible make payment via bank transfer before collecting them.

Update 23.03.2020 from 24.03.2020 we will be operating with a skeleton staff in our sales, support and warehouse. We appreciate there will still be calls, email and visitors so whilst we are in these unprecedented times we would ask that you bear with us should it take a little longer to answer the phone or reply to an email. Currently, deliveries are all being processed and collected as normal by our partner couriers. Processing orders through our website will help us to process them much quicker for you and we appreciate your help with this.
Update 18.03.2020 - Here at Solwise we wanted to update you with measures we are taking to ensure that we can continue to supply you whilst still protecting our staff, visitors and the wider community.
Business as usual, for now
Currently, we are still business as usual, all staff are in the office working our normal business hours. We are continuously monitoring the situation and we may go to a rota system to keep the warehouse and deliveries happening but we will update you should we take this measure. We have contingency plans in place for office staff to work from home meaning we can still be in contact via email.
Customers that collect in person
Customers that normally visit us in person will notice some changes on entry to our building. We now ask that you wait in the hallway, ring the bell as directed and someone will come and see to you. To expedite the ordering process we would encourage you to order online and take the collection option as this means that we can speed up the process of the collection.
All of our usual couriers are still operating however our overseas customers may experience some delays with orders as borders close in various countries and regions. As you can appreciate this will be beyond our control. Nationally many of you will have seen that Royal Mail and other couriers are not taking signatures for deliveries however they are making a note of who signs for packages so we can still provide POD's where appropriate.
We currently have good levels of stock and we are still expecting stock from suppliers to keep us going however as borders close we may experience delays. At this stage you will just have to bear with us when it comes to supplying delivery dates for out of stock/or low stock items. We will endeavour to do our best for you with regards stock availability.
Going on from this we are following Government guidelines making this a very fluid situation open to change at any time. We hope to avoid disruption to our normal service and we appreciate your understanding at what is a difficult time for us all.
