Overview

The XPOL-24 extends Poynting’s popular range of Cross Polarised (XPOL) antennas, delivering high-performance 4x4 MIMO connectivity across the 5G/LTE spectrum. Its exceptional performance is driven by advanced metamaterial technology, featuring an Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) and a newly patented design that significantly enhances bandwidth and gain. The antenna’s radiation patterns are precisely controlled, further boosting overall efficiency.

Covering a wide frequency range from 617 to 4200 MHz, the XPOL-24 achieves a peak gain of 11 dBi. It performs exceptionally well across key bands: 617–960 MHz, 1710–2170 MHz, 2300–2700 MHz, and 3400–4200 MHz. This wideband capability is critical for 5G/LTE networks, which rely on Carrier Aggregation (CA) to optimize signal reception and data throughput across multiple bands. As a result, the XPOL-24 is an ideal choice for both current and next-generation 5G/LTE deployments.

Comment from reseller customer, Darren:
" I recently moved home and had no access to broadband, well 20Megs was the best, so I got one of these from you.
Coupled with a RUTX50 and I managed to pickup 5G from 5Km away (LOS), there are some objects in the way due to the terrain.
Speeds are 300 down 40 up, so a good solution, and very impressed with the antenna."

Article - IP Ratings Explained, by Daniel Coombs

Article: IP Ratings Explained

IP ratings, or Ingress Protection ratings, are a standardised benchmark of how capable a product is of withstanding ingress from foreign entities that could negatively impact its functionality. They’re helpful because terms like ‘weatherproof’ and ‘waterproof’ are unspecific terms and don’t always convey the necessary level of detail.
