The H8860 is a powerful industrial 5G router from Hongdian, compatible with all UK LTE networks and SIM providers. This router is capable of providing excellent data speeds that run on par with and can even exceed those of standard broadband networks, with a 2.5Gbps download rate over Cat22 5G and a 1300Mbps throughput over Wave 2 MU-MIMO WiFi. Because this router picks up on mobile LTE signals, it can perform well whether in urban or rural environments.
The H8860 offers modern router features and technologies such as VPN compatibility, security filters, and port forwarding; this is alongside the standard utilities such as WiFi SSID customisation, DHCP and LAN configuration. All of these tools and features, along with others, are configured and controlled via a simple and intuitive web interface. The H8860 is designed only for use indoors
The H8860 is very advanced in its mobile utilities: it contains dual-SIM card slots for a reliable failover procedure, with custom parameters for when that failover should occur, and it supports four Gigabit Ethernet ports, one GPS antenna connection, four WiFi antenna connections and up to four 4G/5G LTE antenna connections. This means the H8860 can achieve tremendously fast 4x4 MIMO connection speeds wherever a mobile signal might be present, with the capability of supporting twice the concurrent data streams supported by a standard 2X2 MIMO router.

Episode 3 covering the acronyms and letters surrounding 4G and 5G and what their meanings are. Where does LTE fit in? What are category classifications and their download speeds? How many antennas on a mobile router? Would you be better off with a higher category 4G router than investing in a 5G router? Steve and Louise also discuss antenna cable and the losses involved with having a too long cable which leads on to conversation about the new Teltonika networking range.
