PoE

The RUT950 supports passive poe on lan port 1. This is NOT 48V. Voltage is 7-30VDC

PoE information

You need to supply passive poe to LAN port 1.

At the injector end you would need the POE-EPE1212 and for the power supply you could use the PSU095 mentioned on the EPE-1212 page (you could use a lower voltage but 24V will give you the longest lan cable before degradation of the power). Note poe is lan port 1 only and NOT 48V.

RUT950-V4 fix for users on EE
There is something going wrong with the Modem handshake between the new RUT950 and the operator, EE appears to be the only operator affected and only in certain geographic areas.
(Please note this is just for users with the new V4 version of the router - you can tell your router is the V4 version by the power supply, V4 units have the square connector to plug in directly the router, see updated images above)
