Overview
The SMART-AP3 is a multifunction high power, 11b/g Router/Access Point which supports five operation modes: Gateway, Bridge, Client ISP, Router (Ethernet WAN) and Router (Wireless WAN). The 'AP3' also supports IAPP roaming for applications such as WifiVOIP. This device has up to 30dBm RF power with the RealTek 8186 chipset with 16M RAM and a ruggedised metal housing with removable antenna.
The 'AP3' can be powered by Power over Ethernet (12-48V passive PoE) or by using the 12V power adapter supplied. it includes advanced functions to allow QoS with bandwidth control for user groups and a Watchdog facility. The 'AP3' is the ideal Access Point for business applications where the site requires high functionality and AP to AP roaming for clients.
