High Power(23dbm) 108Mbps WirelessUSB 2.0 Adapter
The SUB-862 is a wireless USB 2.0 adapter that supports dual-band 802.11a/b/g (2.4GHz & 5GHz) radio operation. It provides a high-speed wireless connection with data rate up to 108Mbps. To protect your wireless connectivity, the high-speed wireless USB adapter can encrypt all wireless transmissions through 64/128/152-bit WEP data encryption and also supports WPA. Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) puts your network on the cleanest channel in your location. Atheros Chipset.

This is the same spec as the 'normal' 862EXT BUT it is region unlocked. It will therefore allow use of all the 5GHz bands. Because this allows ALL bands the user MUST ensure that it's use conforms to the local 5GHz operating restrictions applicable. e.g. for indoor use in the UK the equipment must conform to Band A & B IR2006 and, for outdoor Band C use in the UK, it must conform to IR2007. |
