Injector for Power over Ethernet

This PoE Injector is a small and compact standalone product. With the Power Over Ethernet function, it can easily extend the wired connection distance through the Ethernet cable which avoid the long power line which might bring dangerous and incident. The EnGenius Injector is compliant with the 'Alternative B' PoE solution which offers 48V/0.375A power supply with standard pin definition of Ethernet cable. Pin#1,2,3 and 6 with data transmission; pin # 4,5,7 and 8 with power enabled to device. Since this unit does not instigate the full, pre-power delivery checks, it cannot be considered as fully 802.3af compliant.

The EnGenius Injector generates safe power over category 5 cabling. By sending 48V, Ethernet terminals such as wireless LAN access point, IP phone, and web camera are powered remotely. It is especially design for outdoor networking facility and low port density installations.
