Overview
A high specification, single radio mesh node. Using 2.4GHz WiFi the AMESH is a super-easy to configure meshing product ideal for small to medium size sites. Perfectly scalable from two to twenty nodes so the mesh can grow as your site demands increase: Suitable for sites of up to several acres, the AMESH mesh units offer an easy end user setup solution for distributed, public broadband over WiFi. Time Division Duplex (TDD) technology for backbone links ensures the most efficient use of available bandwidth and, combined with intelligent Layer 2 routing for data traffic, means the network always works at maximum efficiency. User bandwidth management means site operators can simply restrict user connections to give fairer connection speeds. Other functions such as the 'reboot' feature, full RF power control, WMM support, and separate security for backbone traffic and AP/user connections means the AMESH is the most user friendly, easy to setup MESH solution you can buy.
Also included is the Windows based MESH Management application which allows site operators to do unit configuration and also easily assess link strengths and the mesh routes. This makes it a simple job for the operator to spot weak links and to areas of poor connectivity.
1 x 2m Ethernet cable and 1 x 25m Ethernet cable included in the package.
The antenna are not included with the package, see the accessories tab for antenna to use.
Specifications
•2.4GHz Single Radio - For simple client connectivity •Layer 2 Mesh
- Means only one subnet over the whole network
•Time Division Duplex (TDD) for backbone traffic - Proportions Uplink vs Downlink traffic according to demand & greater flexibility with variations on data loads and type •Bandwidth control for client connections
- Limits bandwidth allocation to give ‘fairer’ use
