Overview
The EnGenius EOC1650 offers Access Point / Client Bridge / Client Router and high bandwidth up to 54Mbps. The EOC1650 is an ideal product for linking two buildings across a courtyard or similar to share internet connection around a property. It comes with a built-in 7dBi internal directional antenna along with a Reverse SMA socket allowing users to attach their own antenna for enhanced network coverage. Suction cups included in the pack allow quick installation on a window or smooth surface. Ideally the EOC1650 will be used in a sheltered location, such as a porch or shop window.
The EOC1650 features high transmitted output power and high receivable sensitivity. High output power and high sensitivity extends range and coverage to reduce the roaming between Access Points to ensure a stable wireless connection and reduce the expense of equipment.
It supports distance control ranges from 1km to 30km and the RSSI indicator enables the best transmitted and received signals for traffic communication. A Power over Ethernet injector is also included with the kit.
To protect wireless connectivity, the EOC1650 encrypts wireless transmissions through 64/128bit WEP data encryption and also supports WPA/WPA2. The MAC address filter lets you select exactly which stations should have access to your network. In addition, the User Isolation function can protect the private network between client users.
EnGenius covers this product with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty.
