The PL-200AV is no more.
It has been superceded by the Simple Connect Versions.
You may have noticed the push button version being sold alongside the previous 200AV model, today we launch the push button version with mains pass through. Both versions are designed to make your customers (and your) lives easier.

The Solwise 200AV HomePlug adapter plugs into a regular mains socket and uses power lines already installed in a house as a path to transfer data at speeds of 200Mbps. The adaptor can create a full multimedia Ethernet network throughout the user’s home, transmitting digital data, voice, audio and video between devices.
The inclusion of SimpleConnect offers a simpler a simpler way to set up your HomePlug network. With just the press of a button, HomePlug AV devices can create or join a secure network. No computer is needed! The HomePlug AV now comes with an option for power- pass-through, allowing the same socket it is occupying to be freed up for other devices.
The Solwise 200AV HomePlug offers an enhanced Quality of Service (QOS) which provides a guaranteed bandwidth reservation for multimedia files including TV over IP (IPTV), higher data rate broadband sharing, Online-Gaming, VoIP Calls, extending Wireless LANs coverage, Audio-Video transmission across the network as well as Network camera connectivity.
To ensure maximum security, the button on each HomePlug AV device in the network must be pushed within 2 minutes of the first one being pushed. More units can be added later, though - details are in the manual. You do not need to reset the whole HomePlug AV network. All versions of the AV products will talk to each other so long as they are on version 2 firmware or newer.
You may have seen a Netgear version of the mains pass through AV product announced this week, please note the Netgear device is based on the DS2 chipset and is not a HomePlug device. It will not work with HomePlug AV adapters.
