As with all our HomePlug AV products, this PL-500AV-4PE is equipped with 128-bit AES security encryption. Combining the private home power grid and the 128-bit AES security encryption, this PL-500AV-4PE is extremely secure compared to other technologies such as WiFi.

Remember, you will need at least two HomePlug devices to form a HomePlug connection. More HomePlug AV devices can be added to further share your network.
