EnGenius have decided to phase out the switch only EGS products. The Neutron EWS WiFi management switches are essentially EGS switches but with extra software in them to do the Neutron AP control. On the EWS switches which are just to be switches you just need to turn off the WiFi management feature (a tick on the front management web page). So, if before, you’d wanted a system of an EWS5912FP WiFi management switch and another 8 port PoE switch (so that’s TWO 8 port switches in the system) then all you do is add another EWS5912FP but turn off Controller management in the second switch.
To this end there are new EWS switches available both with and without PoE. Please note we still have some of the EGS units left in stock but when they are gone there will be no more.

As a distributor of Teltonika hardware, we have recently updated our range to include the new RUT230 and RUT240. The RUT230 is a direct replacement for the popular RUT500 which has now been phased out. The RUT240 is a mid-level 4G router offering 2 Ethernet ports and 150Mbps WiFi speeds.
We continue to supply the popular RUT950 which gives you 4 Ethernet ports and 300Mbps WiFi along with faster 4G speeds. To complete the range we also have the RUT955 dual-sim router and the RUT850 vehicle router as well as the G10 which allows you to manage your remote devices in real-time.
We have a handy comparison chart to show you, at a glance, which router may suit your requirements:
